How can I stop getting catfished?

You can use the app "Facial Recognition" to find the social media accounts of your dating app matches. That way you can date safely by verifying that the person you're talking to is really who they say they are.

Yes. Facial Recognition is a preferred alternative to PimEyes and FaceCheck.ID. It uses FaceCheck.ID's search technology under the hood but is a lot more convenient to search with than using their website. In addition, search credits can be paid for via in-app purchases instead of cryptocurrency.

Is Facial Recognition safe to use?

Yes. Facial Recognition does not process or store any face data. We send the photo that you upload to a third party vendor called FaceCheck.ID. They extract faces from uploaded photos, and the original uploaded image is discarded. After searching, they temporarily store a low resolution thumbnail of the uploaded image and the search results for 24 hours before deleting them. They do not index, publish, or share uploaded photos.
