What is Face Check ID?
A face check ID is a search you run with a photo.
You upload a picture of a face. Facial Recognition maps it and looks for the same face across public social profiles and public web pages. Back comes a ranked list of matches, each one carrying its source link, so you can open the page and decide for yourself.
That is the whole thing. No name. No username. One reasonably clear photo is enough to start.

Can a face check ID search find an Instagram account from a photo?
